Mexicali-inspired, Backyard Boho Wedding | Santa Barbara, Ca

I had known Kelli for about 10 years before I photographed her and Chris’s backyard boho wedding.  And even though I wasn’t surprised by the care and attention to every backyard-boho, mexicali inspired detail for her wedding, I was 110% enthusiastic when I heard her vision and then watched it manifest into Reality.  Kelli & Chris are Santa Barbara locals who have friends across all levels of the wedding industry and each one of us who were involved in making her dream wedding a reality felt nothing but fortunate to have been able to play a role in making it happen.  Thankful to the vision and ability to juggle seven things at once without ever letting a single one hit the ground, Korinna of La Festin Events pieced together eclectic elements from her own inventory, Discount party rental and Sweet Beginnings to weave this wedding into a single, coherent experience for Kelli, Chris and their guests – and for me!  And all kinds of thanks to Alexis Chantarelle for assisting me on this one – there was so much to capture it just wouldn’t have been the same without her eye and her ability to work so well with people :)  Congratulations again, Kelli and Chris.  And thank you for trusting me with capturing the moments and love on your wedding day.
